We travel to you to support the #308 Basic and Advanced Individual Ground School course, designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of drone operations in Canada.

Each candidate receives a copy of the #308 PDF workbook well in advance of the in-person flight training and flight review visit, giving them time to study and attempt the TC Basic / Advanced exams.

We provide full trainer support to individual candidates via phone / chat / Google Meet at any time ahead of the in-person training.

Then, over the 3 days of in-person training, candidates will gain experience flying a Mini 4 Pro then hands-on mapping and inspection training using a DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise RPAS.

Flight training is mission-based and highly effective, based on CARs Part IX best practices while building out teamwork and practicing emergency scenarios.This prepares candidates for their Advanced Flight Reviews on Day 3.

This course is offered to First Nations, companies, organizations and municipalities looking to create in-house drone capability.

The training covers all required study areas to ensure that students are well-prepared for both the theoretical and practical knowledge required to pass exams, and perform their Flight Review as part of this training. If successful, students can then obtain their Transport Canada RPAS Pilot Certificate – Advanced Operations.

* Instructor travel and accommodation expenses are extra. We can also travel off-island to deliver this course for $3950 plus expenses.

The in-depth course workbook is intended to be a 'living document' and an ongoing resource for planning and executing your mapping and inspection missions. Included is a set of pre-flight checklists and emergency operating procedures that you can customize to suit your missions.
